NCC Firing Practice

Shooting at the firing ranges helps a cadet, master this as a sport and also to learn handling of a weapon for self -protection. No matter if it is competition or practice, cadets need to have the skills and courage to deal with whatever comes on their way.

Taurian World School is always ready to fulfill the dreams and aspiration of our NCC Cadets by giving them opportunity to participate in various activities of NCC that happens inside or outside the campus and our Students love to do especially the Rifle Shooting Practices..

As part of the School Curriculum, the NCC Cadets of Taurian World School attended an outdoor Firing  Practice with 0.22 Rifle conducted at  Bariatu Small Arm Firing Range, Ranchi, on 7th February 2018, which was organized by 19 Jharkhand Bn. NCC, Ranchi. 

Out of the 11 Students who took part in this Practice, Mast. Naman Tekriwal excelled when he hit the target (25 Meter Range) five out of five.

Our Students have learnt  about the main Parts of a 0.22 Rifle, About Safety precautions, Stripping of Rifle, Cleaning of Rifle and more than they have learnt the strengths and weaknesses and develop their skill under the guidance of Army / Soldiers and they realize that they will practice their weakness until it become their strengths.
