Do Kadam Aage

27 Apr 2015

TWS in keeping with one of it’s principles “Do Kadam Aage” encourages students to go beyond the classroom learning and selflessly contribute to the community around.

To that end, we are happy to share that our students of grade VIII have embarked on a Community Outreach Program, lead by our French Teacher, Mr. Modeste in coordination with the President and General Secretary of a Non Profit Organization Stambh, which have agreed to provide the technical support for the Outreach Programme.

Provided below are snapshots of students enjoying their first lesson “How to make a survey for a social project”.   It was conducted on Saturday, 25th April, 2015.  Here students made their own surveys on different topics such as Education, General Information , Health and Women.  The projects which will be implemented in Hazam Village will be defined after collecting the data through an interview by our students under the supervision of Stambh in Hazam Village.

Activity on communication gap.

A phrase has been told to a first child who was asked to pass the same phrase in the ears of his neighbor, then the neighbor will pass what has been transmitted to him to another neighbor until we go through all the participants. The last child to receive the information will tell it loudly. The conclusion is that, while the phrase was passing from one to another it was progressively changed to something else – totally different to the original phrase.
