Grade VIII : Southern Wonders : Day 2

SOUTHERN WONDERS – DAY 2

Students of Grade VIII refreshed from a good night’s rest and breakfast at 8:00am. set out at 9:00am for sightseeing to Chamundi Hills.  They saw Karnataka Open University, Central University of Language, Mysore University and Maharaja College en-route to Chamundi Temple.

They then headed out to Mysore Maharaja’s City Palace, and saw the Nandi Bull single stone statue and St. Philomena Church on the way.  They arrived Maharaja’s Palace at 12:30pm and after exploring all areas of the palace, returned to Hotel Oasis at 1:45pm for lunch.

The group had time to relax and enjoyed swimming in the hotel before setting out at 5:00pm to Brindavan Gardens at Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. They enjoyed the guided tour and took some photographs after getting some basic photography tips from Mr. Krishnendu, the accompanying teacher on tour.

The group returned to Hotel Oasis and had a sumptuous dinner at 9:00pm and then retired for the day.
