Grand Finale: Taurian Sporting Talent Drive: Taurian Golden Extravaganza 2017 – Summer Special – Taurian Idol
The curtains of the 10 days Taurian Sporting Talent Drive and Taurian Golden Extravaganza 2017 – Summer Special – Taurian Idol came down to the elimination rounds of the Solo Singing, Solo Dance and Instrumental music culminating with the successful Grand Finale.
As the number of participants was high the Grand Finale was spread over two days, 4th & 5th of May 2017.
On the 4th of May, we had three special judges who came and put a super touch to the event. The first judge Rishab Raj, is the bassist of the Band Nimaggn. He has performed at MTV Indies Ranchi Rocks. He delighted the audience as he strummed on the Spanish Guitar in Flamingo style and also got the audience to clap to the rhythm of ‘We will rock you’.
The second judge, Utsav Chakrabortty, is the lead vocalist and lyricist of the Band Paarth. He was an instant hit as he sang and inspired the children with his marvelous performance.
The third judge, Mehul Prasad, is a dance choreographer and Director of Hominis Management. He has been awarded for conducting the show Ranchi’s Got Talent. He was impressed by our young budding artists talent, and said that he is going to select the best performers and put them directly through to the semifinals of the show ‘Ranchi’s Got Talent’ which he is conducting.
On the 5th May, we had another special judge, Mirnal Pathak. Mirnal is an Assistant Professor in BIT Mesra Ranchi. He is a very accomplished musician and can play any instrument. He has travelled the world over and also received an award from the President of India. He performed along with Rishab Raj one of our student contenders to motivate our children.
Special thanks go to these wonderful personalities for doing a great job in making the Grand Finale of the ‘Taurian Golden Extravaganza’ such a grand success.
It was a great pleasure to have parents join us on this special occasion and stay right till the lights of the stage came to a close at 10:00pm.

Special thanks to the Principal, Sports Department, Dance & Music Department, the three Academic Coordinators who took on the role of judges, the three expert comment judges, the three anchors, all support teams and staff members and last but not the least our budding star performers for making the event such a grand success.
