National Cricket League

The second day of the Taurian World School National Cricket League was very exciting. We were honoured to have with us the Jharkhand State Sports Minister Mr. Amar Kumar Bauri as the Chief Guest on 20th January 2018. He inaugurated the  “Taurian Cricket Academy” in the school cricket ground. Mr. Zeeshan Wasi (NIS and ICC Level 1) was made the head coach of the Academy. 

Mr. Bauri gave words of wisdom and encouraged the young budding players present there with his motivational speech. He told that parents sending their kids to Doon School and Shantiniketan for Quality Education can now opt for the same educational experience with State of the art infrastructure and other facilities in Ranchi in the form of Taurian World School. He also told that only hockey and archery were the major sports played in Jharkhand and the game of Cricket became famous only because of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He hoped that the Taurian World School creates more players like M.S. Dhoni and give them to the Indian Cricket Fans. 

Mr. Bauri wished the players good luck and told that he will be available for Taurian World School whenever need arises.
