Road Safety Campaign attended by Our NCC and Band Students on 30th April 2018

Road Safety Awareness

On 30th April, 2018, 36 of our NCC Students and Band Group accompanied by Mr. Sujeet kumar Singh and Mr. Wilson Kullu, went to Zila School, Ranchi to attend a Road Safety Campaign to mark the 29th National Road Safety Week from 23rd April to 30th April 2018.
 
Organized by Ministry of Jharkhand State Road and Transport, NGO R. Rise Up, Jharkhand Police and NCC Group, it was attended by around 1500 Students/Cadets from different schools.
 
Mr. Chandra Shekhar Prasad Singh, Road and Transport Minister of Jharkhand was the Chief Guest of this Occasion. He highlighted the importance of Road Safety Rules and Regulation and requested everyone to follow the safety norms while driving in his short speech. He also encouraged and motivated all the students for their valuable contribution in the Awareness Campaign.
 
The Road March Past started at 7:00 AM From Zila School, Ranchi to Sujata Chowk and ended by 8:30 AM. All our Students were full of zeal and enthusiasm and they cried out relevant road safety slogans while marching with band. They were also given refreshment after the rally.
 
It was a learning experience for the students and they participated wholeheartedly in this road show. We look forward to participating in more such awareness campaign.
