Two day workshop on Digital Media

Taurian world school in its endeavor to impart holistic development to the students organized a two day workshop on ‘Digital media’ in collaboration with IIT-Kharagpur. It was conducted under the aegis of Taurian guidance cell and MakeIntern Team.

The resource person, Mr. Subhash Karthik trained the students in various aspects of Digital media. Topics like being an entrepreneur in digital world, email marketing, paid and organic search, being creative and thinking out of box etc was dealt while the students enthusiastically inquired the various nuances and intricate details to prepare themselves to face the future digital world.

This workshop will entail an upcoming quiz championship and technical workshop to be held at Spring-fest 2017 (IIT-Kharagpur event). Five selected students from the school shall participate in the aforementioned championship at IIT-Kharagpur.

Besides the students, the principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar, the coordinators as well as the Taurian faculty also participated in the workshop which made it more interactive and conducive to learning and acquisition of various concepts pertaining to Digital Media. It was even imbued with the pursuit of ‘Digital India’, a vision of the Indian Government.
