71st Republic Day Celebrations

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Taurian World School on 26th January 2020. The Principal Dr. Subhash Kumar hoisted the National Flag and the echo of the National Anthem filled the air. The staff and the students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”. Dr. Subhash Kumar, in his speech sent his wishes for the day and hailed our indian soldiers who had sacrificed their lifes for freedom. He emphasized the purpose of framing the constitution of india and highlighted responsibilities of each and every citizen.
He then visited Parasnath School in Village Hazam and hoisted the National Flag and distributed sweets to the students.

Back in campus, a beautiful cultural programme was organized by the music department where the whole school joined in singing and dancing through patriotic songs. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding.
Later, Mr. Rajendra Nagle, HOD Music, delivered the vote of thanks and urged the students to do their best and feel proud to be Indians.
