Annual Day Function 2022

12TH ANNUAL DAY –SYMPHONY NIGHT AT TWS

The students of Taurian World School,Ranchi took great pride in celebrating their 12th Annual Day –SYMPHONY NIGHT on 22nd December 2022.

Symphony Night at Taurian World School is the culmination of the students’ year-long learning in the areas of cultural and co-curricular activities, such as drama, vocal music, instrumental music and dance. The children perform on inspirational & powerful themes which encourage self-reflection and stimulate their thought processes. This year the theme was “Freedom Struggle”.

It was an evening of celebration and the occasion was graced by our respected Chairman Mr. Amith Bajla, our Principal Dr.Subhash Kumar, other dignitaries and our dear parents. We had Shri Sanjay Srivastava (IFS), Head of Forest Force, Prof.(Dr.) Gopal Pathak, Vice Chancellor of Sarala Birla University, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Agarwal, Vice Chancellor of Sai Nath University and Shri Raj Kumar Mallick (IPS), Addl. Director General of Police, as our Guest of Honours who were greeted by our Chairman and Principal and escorted to the amphitheater by the school Horse riding team.

The event unfolded with the National Anthem followed by the lighting of the lamp, amidst chanting of shlokas and Felicitation of the Guests. Thereafter the Principal, Dr.Subhash Kumar extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and read the annual report highlighting the achievements of the academic year. The students conveyed their gratitude for the nation through a vibrant western dance.

It was then followed by a Hindi Play “Azadi ke badalte aayam” and the English Play “Two Goats and a Horse”. The last program was a Tribal Dance of Jharkhand.

The Guest of Honors encouraged the students in their speech. The function concluded with the presentation of the Grand Finale and the Vote of thanks.
