HOW TO DEAL WITH LIFE’S PROBLEMS THROUGH AN ENGLISH SKIT

“ In order to crash the party and be a clown with your own skit, you had to be there  for quite a while. “

A skit is a short theatrical presentation, often comical or satirical. Learning slits for students has many benefits; it improves communication skills and helps to learn team work, dialog, negotiations, and socialization. It also stimulates the imagination and creativity of the students. It also helps them get a better understanding of human behavior and situations.

Students in Grade 6 learned to deal with life’s problems through an English skit. The activity gave the students the chance to rehearse their roles and characters and enact real-life situations which will help them to make a sense of happenings in their real life at a later stage.

It will also help the students to build confidence in them by performing in front of the audience.

Skits for students are also about the right timing and concentration. The children were actively involved in theatrics; they were supposed to focus on several things- timings and concentration included. Children learned to use these important skills in their daily lives, both at home and at school. This will lead them to use these skills even when they grow old and are professionally engaged.

This activity gave the children opportunities to understand and deal with a range of difficult issues. It also encouraged them to think, act, and behave creatively in all areas of learning as well as life.

Their enthusiasm was clearly visible as they performed this activity whole-heartedly.
