“A poetry class can be very interesting for students provided they find it fun-filled and memorable learning experience.”
The young learners of Grade 6 had their poetry session of the poem titled , ‘Indian Weavers’ by Sarojini Naidu where they learned not just to recite the poem but also how to analyse a poem critically.
They recited the stanzas of the poem with correct pronunciation, rhyme and rhythm.
The were explained the whole poem stanza -wise.
They displayed their out of the box thinking through an array of posters.
They imagined that Weavers’ Fair is taking place at their school and created some wonderful posters highlighting the art of Indian weavers.
