Children’s Day Special Assembly on 14th November 2017

Greetings from Taurian World School!

We are pleased to inform you that a special assembly was conducted by the teachers today in view of Children’s Day Celebrations.

“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about”
Ms. Harinder was the anchor for the assembly. Ms. Juhi Chirania led us in the school prayer of ‘We the family of taurian world school…’

Ms. Trina Aich Mondal shared an inspirational thought in French: ‘Sois bell a’ ta facon’. The English meaning was, ‘Be beautiful in your own way’.

Mr. Sarbjit Sen Gupta added the word “ambidextrous” to our vocabularies which meant, “A person who is equally capable in both hands”. This was followed by news updates by Ms. Rashmi Sharma.

Post assembly a special program was organised by all the teaching staff to entertain the students. Ms. Shyamali and Mr. Irfan rocked the floor with a beautiful dance fusion. Then there was a sweet Dance on bum bum bole masti mein dole, by primary teachers, Miss Tanya and her team.

“There’s nothing more contagious than the laughter of young children, it doesn’t even have to matter what they’re laughing about”.

Next was a short skit on bullying presented by Mr. Harsha, Ms.Harinder, Ms. Pooja and Mr. Durgesh giving a great message, to stop bullying.

Then there was a melodious song “She calls out to the man on the street ‘Sir, can you help me?” sung by Mr. Kevin (Another day in paradise).

Followed by melodious hindi songs, “ajeeb dastan hai yeh”, “enna sohna tenu rabb ne banaya” by Mr. Wilson, Ms. Urvashi and Ms. Sharmilla.

This was followed by a message on Children’s Day, emphasizing on the birthday of our Independent India’s First Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, popularly known as ‘Chacha Nehru”.

Our Principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar concluded the program by his motivational message on ‘Children’s Day’ followed by a melodious sufi song “Chhaao tilak, naina milaik” by Mr. Basant, Mr. Kevin, Mr. Irfan, Mr. Parvez and Ms. Shyamali.
