English Debate Competition

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Taurian World School organized a debate competition for Middle section (Grade VI &VII) on 1st December 2017. The topic debated in the competition was

“Reading is a dying art in this digital world.”

This occasion served as a launch pad for our young speakers to exhibit their potential and talent for public speaking.

The judges were Mrs Vishakha Jha, PGT English in SBPS Ranchi, Mr Kundan Jha, founder and president of Ranchi Toast Master Club and Mr. Nitesh Garodia, an entrepreneur.

The Best Speakers:

Suhaani Garg – 1^st

Aarav Budhia – 2^nd

Akshat Jaiswal – 3^rd

Congratulations to all our young participants for the healthy debate. Both parties argued to moot each other’s personal opinions, using ideas out of arguments and analyzing points with a rational mind to debate in good humor.
