Grand Christmas Celebrations

Taurian World School had a Grand Christmas Celebration on 23rd December 2021 with pomp and gaiety.

After two long years, the campus was frolicked by the stakeholders who were excited to see the kids perform and of course following the Covid guidelines of social distancing.

The program began with the prayer to the Almighty, the fervor of the participants was manifested by their various cultural performances, songs, dances and playing of the musical instruments.

Soni (Grade 9), Pramila (Grade 9) and Vimla (Grade 8) started the event with their wonderful dance performances followed by a solo dance performance of Anamika (Grade 5).

Ananya Singh (Grade 11) mesmerized the audience with her wonderful voice when she sang “Shukriya”.

A group dance by girls of class 6, 7 and 10 (Pranjali, Anushka and Bhumi) won a huge round of applause for them from the audience.

A beautiful song was sung by Shine Henry (Grade 9) followed by Aashvi Kashyap’s (Grade 5) incredible dance performance which flattered everyone.

Urvi  (Grade 6) built hope that the pandemic will end soon with a brilliant song “I have a dream” followed by a speech about Christmas in Sanskrit by Samriddhi of Grade 7.

Nativity was also performed by the students of Grade 9 (Ratnam, Mannat, Ishan, Akshat, Chirag, Sadiq, Shristi, Snehal and Tanishq) to demonstrate the birth of Christ.

The Flute requires a high degree of patience and discipline which happens to be a necessary attribute for academic excellence. An enthralling performance of the flute with high notes was by Sampoorn of Grade 5 that left the audience mesmerized.

Accolades for various activities like the ‘Tableau competition’ and the poster competition on ‘the Energy Conservation day’ were distributed among the winners.

The program which was coordinated by Mr. Kevin Ray David, the music teacher at Taurian World School concluded with a heartfelt speech delivered by our principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar who wished for health and prosperity for the whole nation and the world and he also, blessed all the students, especially the performers and invited everyone to the sumptuous lunch offered at the occasion.

Santa Claus played by our one and only Mr. CS Shankar made the children go merry with his cheerful gestures. Overall the students, teachers, admin staff and support staff enjoyed the event and wished Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to each other.
