INAUGURATION OF TAURIAN SPORTING TALENT HUNT : 24-04-2017

We were privileged to have as Chief Guest, Mr. Jai Kumar Sinha, to inaugurate the “Taurian Sporting Talent Drive”.  Mr. Sinha is an eminent person serving as Secretary, Jharkhand State Table Tennis Association.  He is also the Secretary of Fencing Jharkhand and former Ranji Trophy player of Bihar, Former Sports Director in Ranchi University and last but not the least Cricket Coach and Selector for Boys and Girls of Jharkhand Cricket Association.

The Taurian Sporting Talent Drive (TSTD) is a platform for students to build and develop their abilities in the sporting arena by taking part in a ten day structured routine which concentrates on both fitness and skills.  It is an opportunity for the students to push their limits and improve their fitness.  The ten day routine will take them back to the basics which is the foundation to build a sturdy sporting career.  It will help students to concentrate on and tackle various situations of the game and give them experience to participate in various level competitions.

At the end of the ten day routine there will be a self-evaluation followed by a coach evaluation.  This will give the students a clear picture of the level they are at.
