Interhouse Social Science Quiz

On 22^nd February, 2018, students from the Middle School (Classes VI and VII) participated in the Inter-House Social Science Quiz.

The Houses namely Dragon, Griffin, Phoenix and Unicorn were represented by four students each. The Quizmasters for the day were Mr. Sarbajit Sengupta and Mrs. Harinder Kaur. The Topics were selected from the History, Geography and Civics Syllabi of their classes, and also from Current Affairs.

Thus, the students set forth into motion from a week back, ardently doing research on the topics. Finally, on the D-Day, their hard work paid off as they made their Houses proud.

Griffins House emerged as the Winners followed by Phoenix House and Dragon House in 2^nd and 3^rd positions respectively. The Quiz was followed by a round of Audience Questions, which created a lot of excitement among the spectators as they were rewarded with chocolates for every correct answer.

The final outcome, as is evident from the feedback given by the students, was in one word “Fabulous”, and they wanted more of such quizzes. The whole exercise transpired to be an enjoyable learning experience, which is an important aspect of education. We are looking forward to conduct more such Quizzes in the next Academic Year.
