Memorable student expedition to Kutch

Khoj Expedition – Little Rann of Kutch

On 24th December, a group of 15 students along with 2 teachers from Taurian World School, in collaboration with Disha Foundation, set out on an enriching Khoj Expedition to the Little Rann of Kutch. The journey aimed to provide students with hands-on learning beyond the classroom through direct interaction with nature and culture.

The Little Rann of Kutch, with its vast salt marshes and unique biodiversity, became a living classroom where students explored geography, ecology, wildlife conservation, and local livelihoods. Guided by experts from Disha Foundation, they gained valuable insights into environmental sustainability and the importance of preserving fragile ecosystems.

The Khoj Expedition proved to be a memorable and transformative experience, reinforcing Taurian World School’s commitment to holistic and experiential education. We sincerely thank Disha Foundation for their support in making this expedition a success.
