AN ASSEMBLY STRESSED ON CARING OF OUR ENVIRONMENT AND ANIMALS

A special assembly conducted on the day prior to Diwali & Chatt Holidays had the theme of having a safe and responsible Diwali celebration this year. Drawing from the core values of Taurian World School, the special assembly stressed on caring and thinking of our environment and animals while celebrating the festival of lights and having fun and enjoyment nonetheless.

The assembly started with a prayer by Rakshita Toppo of Grade 8 followed by Bhajan and Choir songs by the Music Department. Mr. Gaurav, Dance Teacher and Mr. Biman, Music Teacher, put up a great musical performance in dancing and singing respectively.

The audience was mesmerized with cultural revelry as some students showed up with a group dance performance.

Dr. Subhash Kumar, Principal, in his concluding speech reminded us of what Diwali actually symbolizes- the victory of light over darkness, truth over evil. He also inspired the audience in all his exuberance and panache to celebrate a sparkling Diwali in the ethical and socially caring way.

The event concluded with the National Anthem.
