“Grammar lays the groundwork for effective communication. Just as an improperly configured telephone wire can cause static during a phone conversation, improper grammar can likewise affect the meaning and clarity of an intended message.”
On 28th April, 2017 the english department successfully conducted a TECT for students of Grades VI to X. The students participated actively and enjoyed doing the test. This activity helped boost the confidence of the students and also helped the teachers to identify the weak areas of students in this important subject.
This activity also helped our teachers to reflect on the students’ level of understanding and to focus on and monitor the progress of each child.
As we continue with the TECT through the year, we are sure it will help students to improve all major aspects of communication skills such as reading, writing, listening, speaking and above all; thinking.
