It was a great moment of pride and honour for our NCC cadets to visit Raj Bhawan on 7th February, 2017 on the grand occasion of The Home Function of Jharkhand NCC Contingent: Republic Day Parade 2017 to witness the felicitation of all NCC Cadets who participated in the “The Republic Day Parade” on 26th January, 2017 at Raj Path, New Delhi.
The function was organized by NCC Officers. Smt. Draupadi Murmu, the Honourable Governor of Jharkhand graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Also in attendance were all the high ranking Army Officers, Principals, ANOs (Asst. NCC Officer), and NCC Cadets from reputed schools and colleges of Ranchi.
The Honourable Governor congratulated all NCC Cadets who represented Jharkhand State at Raj path, New Delhi and thanked them for the contribution of their services to the nation.
“The safety, honour and welfare of your country comes first, always and every time. The honour welfare and comfort of the men you command come next. Your own ease, comfort and safety come last, always and every time.”
It was an overwhelming experience for our NCC Cadets to witness the felicitation and cultural program presented by NCC cadets of different schools and colleges. Also an opportunity for them to interact and share learning experiences (duties and responsibilities) of being a cadet.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar for initiating this exposure trip and also thank the School Management, Coordinators, Transport Dept., Catering and Pastoral Care Dept. for their help and support.
Attached is the list of NCC cadets who visited Raj Bhawan and below are pictures of the enriching experience which we are sure our NCC cadets will cherish lifelong and look forward to the future when they too will be able to demonstrate their excellence in the service of the nation.
