Early Humans

Grade VI

The children of Grade 6A and 6B are studying the chapter Early Humans.

Here,they learnt about the different periods of the Stone Age and the types of tools the early humans used during this period.

They also learnt about the sites where the evidences of these stone tools have been found.In this context they did an activity.

They made stone stools out of thermocol / mount board / card board or any other hard material.

Then on a chart paper they traced the map of India and marked and labelled three sites each from the three different periods of the Stone Age namely Palaeolithic , Mesolithic and Neolithic.

Then they placed the stone tools on those sites accordingly.
