Crafty and Colourful

Creating art expands a child’s ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication. Not only does art help to develop the right side of the brain, it also cultivates important skills that benefit a child’s development. The value of art class goes far beyond helping children develop their skills. Art also gives them plenty of time to develop creative problem-solving skills.

Our young artists of Class LKG and UKG have been enjoying doing craft work using paper. They also have been learning about colour mixing to produce different colours.

Students of Class 1 really had fun making sock dolls and they also enjoyed making hand puppets using various colourful papers.

Students of Class 2 have learnt Still life drawing by colour mixing. They have learnt the beautiful art of paper origami

while students of Class 3 have shown their creativity in drawing and colouring by using different colour tones.

Our Class 4 artists have been exploring art by drawing city scenes and they have learnt how to draw vehicles using different forms and structures

while students of Class 5 have been enjoying learning to create beautiful pieces of art using paper cutting technique. They have created wonderful art pieces like butterflies and they have also been enjoying learning about patterns and using the same to creatively express in an art form.
