It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we had organized an Inter House Debate Competition for Middle section (Grade VI &VII) on
1st February 2020.  The topic debated in the competition was “Societal pressure is useful for students.”

 This occasion served as a launch pad for our young speakers to exhibit their potential and talent for public speaking.

The jury members consisted of Mrs. Rajbir Kaur, PGT English in Sarala Birla Public School and our own Mrs Tanushree Sengupta, School Counsellor and Mr. Syed Mahdi, Executive Administration.

The Best Speakers were:

 Shashi Shekhar, (Phoenix House)             Grade 7 A-  1st Position

Johanna Sneha Bara, ( Unicorn House)    Grade 7B–  2nd Position

Avni Kejriwal, (Dragon House)                   Grade 6A- 3rd Position

Both parties argued to moot each other’s personal opinions, using ideas out of arguments and analyzing points with a rational mind to debate in good humor.
