Grade X Chemistry Practical

Our Grade X students conducted a Practical Activity of the Chapter – Chemical Reactions and Equations under the guidance of their Chemistry Teacher Mr. Harsha Purtipli.
Students learnt about the four basic types of reactions given in the chapter :
- Combination Reaction
- Decomposition Reaction
- Displacement Reaction
- Double Displacement Reaction
This activity helped the students to gain a clear understanding of the reactions and also to understand the difference between each type of reaction. The reactions can be correlated by our daily life observations which reflect on corrosion of iron (rusting), combustion of fuels, spoilage of food etc. The students also understood the precautions to be taken in the Chemistry Lab while handling the various apparatus.
