Taurian Mathematical Concept Test
“Logic and mathematics are nothing but specialized linguistic structures”
Taurian Mathematical Concept Test (TMCT) is designed to test the students basic understanding of elementary mathematical concepts and mathematical skills.
On 21st April, 2017 the mathematics department successfully conducted a TMCT for students of Grades III to X. The students participated actively and enjoyed solving basic mathematical problems. This activity helped boost the confidence of the students and also helped the teachers to identify the weak areas of students in this important subject.
This activity also helped our teachers to reflect on the students level of understanding and to focus on and monitor the progress of each child.
As we continue with the TMCT through the year, we are sure it will establish a culture that celebrates the importance of mathematics and numeracy.
