Parents of Grades 2 and 3 had an occasion to ‘Connect’ during the Parent- Teacher Meeting on 12^th August, Saturday. The event started with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Principal, the Primary Academic Coordinator and the  Grades 2 and 3 Teachers.

The assembly was conducted in Hindi under the guidance of the Hindi teacher, Mrs. Sunita. Rajveer Panjiyar, anchor of the program, invited Archit Choudhary to start with a prayer.  This was followed by the Ganesh Vandana sung by Ananyaa. The Thought for the Day “Safalta ki khushi manana achha hai parantu vssey bhi zaroori hai apni asafaltoon sey seekh lena” was brought to us by Aarvi Priya, and the Word of the Day “Abhiman” by Rishabh Lohot. The news update was presented by Shivani and Parth.  The special presentation on ‘Kabir ke Dohe’ sung by the grade 3 students was very melodious.

The Principal, Dr. Subhash Kumar and the Primary Coordinator, Mrs. Swati Sarkar addressed the gathering. Then it was time to play ‘The Connection Quotient’ and ‘Daddy’s Doll and Mamma’s Pet’. The parents and children enjoyed answering the set of questions of ‘The Connection Quotient’. Archit Choudhary and his mom came first, followed by Ananyaa Jhawar and her mom in second position and Shivay Narayan and his mom in third position.

The whole-hearted participation of the children and parents doing the ramp walk was a splendid sight and marvelous indeed. Aarvi Priya bagged the first prize, Rishabh Lohot came second while Shaun Mario David and Ananyaa tied in the third position. The audience got a chance to witness Ananyaa’s mother singing followed by Aditya’s dad. Our Music teachers Mr. Basant and Mr. Kevin also displayed their innate skills in singing. The show ended with the National Anthem. Then the parents, children and teachers moved to their classrooms for a one-to-one interaction followed by a sumptuous lunch.
