Students are given many opportunities to serve as leaders at TWS. They can be peer counsellors and mediate for a group of students, welcome new students to residence life, or plan and delegate activities for their group. Various leadership positions in different domains of the school are defined and designed enabling students to come up and prove themselves as efficient leaders. These opportunities exist at both ” house” levels as well as school level.
The Learning Assistance Programme identifies every child as a learner.
If students face any difficulty, they’re guided through special classes in art,
drama or a second language. Special care is taken so that students are not pulled
out of classes that they really thrive in.
Taurian World School inspires students to identify their talents and choose a career that is ideal for them. Students are counselled on various fronts including career development, course selection and planning for higher education. .
The team works closely with regular classroom teachers to offer personal counselling to students. Qualified counsellors explore new perspectives for the students to think through and deal with the issues in their lives better.
Service Learning empowers students to identify strengths, define goals and work out strategies for
their own personality development. It targets to create ‘Balanced Taurians’ who find joy and fulfilment in a
range of activities involving intellectual, physical, creative and
emotional experiences.
