Grade IV Activity

Students of Grade 4 performed an activity on soil profile in Science under the guidance of their Science teacher. In this activity they were asked to collect various samples of soil from different areas. 

They then put them in a jar filled with water to observe the different layers of the soil  and their composition. They were also able to identify which type of clay is suitable for the growth of the plant. 

By doing this activity the students were able to understand the importance of soil  and learnt how to conserve the soil for future. 

This  activity also developed the analytical and demonstrating skills of the students.
