Grade IV and V : Golden Triangle : Day 4

GOLDEN TRIANGLE TOUR – DAY 4

The group began their day by having heavy buffet breakfast (Aloo paratha, poha, bread, butter Jam, curd, etc) to discover the beauty of the Pink City – Amer Fort. The 12 km huge fort got the kids pleasantly surprised and wonder how the rulers of those days were so intelligent to build something so grand.

The guide explained to them the history of the fort and it’s link to Akbar as it was built over a period of 136 years starting with Raja Maan Singh, the brother of Jodha Bai who Akbar married for political mileage. They were also briefed about the 12 queens Raja Maan Singh had and how their rooms were built and placed strategically in four directions but also with how much intelligence was used in designing all the rooms keeping in mind the need of different seasons.

Students also got to experience the tradition of Rajasthan wearing the Rajasthani Turbun. After visiting the Fort, they returned to the hotel for buffet lunch ( Rice, mix veg, Paneer Butter Masala, Butter Naan, Kheer, salad, Daal Tadka, etc). Post lunch they got to rest and relax for one hour after which the team left for Albert Museum, followed by Street Shopping. Students of grade 5 particularly took interest to observe the statues of the Egyptian gods which they had studied in one of their units.

Students were super excited while shopping and showed great enthusiasm in doing so. They bought multiple things for their family members showing how much they cared about them.

Post shopping they had snacks and then visited the Birla Temple to experience the feel of Aarti.

They then returned to the hotel where they spent time with their friends in unwinding before moving for buffet dinner – Veg and non veg (Chicken butter masala, Roti, Mix veg, Daal Makhani, Custard, Salad, etc).

Post dinner they went straight away to their rooms to catch up with their friends and families over the phone before going to bed at 10:30pm.

Tomorrow, they will wrap up the second vertex of the Golden Triangle by visiting to Hawaii Mahal and Jantar Mantar and depart for Delhi post lunch to complete the Golden Triangle Tour.
