Our Grade VII students were shown a power point presentation on  various peace symbols and their interpretative meanings. This was related to their study topic “War And Peace”.  In the presentation the students got to know about the socio- political backgrounds of different countries and different periods in history when these symbols evolved as one of the world peace symbols and got popularized.

The human stories as the background of these symbols helped students understand the effect of war, and thus importance of peace and peace initiatives.
