Taurian World School recently celebrated National Youth Day, paying homage to Swami Vivekananda and his enduring ideals. The assembly commenced with a special prayer song, followed by an insightful presentation delving into the life of Swamiji. The presentation covered key aspects, such as his early life, his spiritual journey marked by numerous tests, and his noteworthy contributions in the West and later for the benefit of youth and society.

A compelling video featuring the views of APJ Abdul Kalam on Swami Vivekananda added a poignant touch to the tribute. A declamation contest was organized, featuring three eloquent students. Saksham from Class IX spoke passionately about Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech at the Chicago Parliament of Religion. Samridhi assumed the role of Prof. Gita Gopinath from the IMF, and Pratham portrayed the inspiring Nelson Mandela.

The students found inspiration in Swamiji’s profound words and quotes on leadership and fearlessness. The assembly concluded with words of wisdom from our esteemed Principal and the resonant notes of the national anthem.
